Book Review
Review by Ray Hoekzema
Though science can explain much about the
world we live in, it does not have all the answers. Certainly not the
ultimate answer to the great question of meaning: Why are we here? Nor
answers to questions of morality: How should we behave? But where
science is silent, God the Creator has spoken. Much of Vaughan’s
material is founded on the four building blocks of the Christian
worldview – Creation, Fall, Redemption, and New Creation. Using Genesis
chapter 1 & 2, the contents of this booklet teaches something about the
Creator, and His design for humanity, the earth, sin & marriage, and
work. The five subjects are each succinctly summed up along biblical
lines and rounded off by a few questions to challenge the reader in his
understanding of the issue and how it applies to his life. It’s a neat
little book for personal or group study.
