Seek Forgiveness

Sometimes we hurt our loved ones
With the things we do and say,
But we must never let the sun go down
We must seek forgiveness right away.
For if we don’t we’ll suffer
And our relationships will drift,
We’ll find it hard to reconcile
And this will cause a rift.
The longer we let it go
The harder it will become,
And this will also hinder our walk
With Jesus, God’s own Son.
But Jesus gave us an example
That we should forgive right away,
Remember His death on Calvary
He forgave His murderers that day.
So if it’s good enough for Jesus
Then it’s good enough for me,
So I’ll seek reconciliation
And forgiveness instantly.
