Clay jar

by Tim Vanderstoep

Hushed, my eyes closed, I saw

smashed, shattered and remade.

Remade with cracks and fractures
with strength and beauty

And out of the gashes in the pottery
spilled the Light which a
whole jar would dare to contain.
