WHERE DO I FIND
THEE?
June Carter
I find thee Lord at the heart of a
flower,
and in the call of a mother at a bed-time hour.
I find thee too in the raging eye,
of a storm when the wind and the sea ride high.
And when it's breath is spent in a long last sigh,
You are there in the calm where corals lie.
While your hand is firm 'neath the flight of a sparrow,
I meet you still where my road is narrow.
At the end of a prayer in a sacred place,
I am lifted up by your boundless grace.
Be ever Lord in every part.
In my head. In my soul,
and in my grateful heart.
